LESSONS

Lessons are half-hour, private instruction, on a weekly basis.

REGISTRATION

Registration forms must be completed before an instructor is assigned. RKM School of Music will find the best available match of student, instructor, date, and time. An instructor and lesson date will be assigned once registration, policy form information has been signed, verified, and a method of payment has been secured. The assigned day and time is yours for RKM's school term or until we have received written notice of termination (see policy).

This is our commitment to you and your commitment to our instructors.

FEES

Private music lessons are $20.00 per half-hour lesson. RKM School of Music term is from September 2008 to June 2009.

Methods of payment are:

1. Post-dated cheques (dated the 1st of each month) made out to RKM Music Canada.
2. Pre-authorized credit card debit (dated the 1st of each month).
3. Payment made for the full year term (cash, debit, cheque, or credit card).

We do not require an administration fee.

LESSON TERMINATION

RKM Music Canada requires written notice 15 days prior to the termination of lessons. No exceptions. This is to ensure that our instructors have the opportunity to keep their schedules filled and that your payment schedule is adjusted accordingly. Non-attendance at scheduled lessons does not constitute withdrawal. You are required to pay for all scheduled lessons until written notice of termination is received.

MISSED LESSONS

There are no refunds or makeups if a student misses a lesson; however:

1. A maximum of two lessons per student, per term may be re-scheduled with RKM School administration (instructors and studio availability taken into account). This requires a minimum of one week's notice.
2. If you are away for an extended period of time within RKM's school term, lessons may be suspended. We cannot "hold" your scheduled time unless it is held with payment. You must re-register if you do not wish to hold your spot with payment. We cannot guarantee the same instructor and scheduled time when you re-register.

The studio and instructor is scheduled for your time slot and paid accordingly for missed lessons.

SUBSTITUTE INSTRUCTORS

RKM School of Music reserves the right to provide a substitute when required. If a substitute is not available, RKM Music Canada will offer a choice of makeup lesson or lesson credit.

BOOKS/MATERIALS

Books and materials are not included in the lesson price. These will be determined by the instructor and will be made available for purchase in our store.
